IRAQ DETAINED

A suspected al-Qaida leader is blindfolded after his arrest in Mandali, on the Iranian border, on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007. The Iraqi army said Maher, Kamel, 31, confessed to taking part in a bombing near the Iranian border. After his detention in Mandali, he was taken to Iraqi army headquarters in Baqouba, Iraq.
